Kim has been active with our Association since she joined Tobey & Merrill Insurance.  She has helped in the planning and execution of many of our events and is currently the Chair of our Emerging Leaders Committee.  She joined our Board of Directors in 2023 making an impact right away.    It was no surprise, after serving on the Board for only 2 years, that Kim was unanimously brought forward by the Nominating Committee for the position of Vice Chair.  She was elected and installed for that position at our convention last month in Portsmouth.
 
On a personal note, I have immense respect for Kim.  She is thoughtful in her comments and suggestions, always willing to step up to take responsibility for projects.  And when Kim sees that something needs to be done, or sees a better or more efficient way to accomplish a goal, she steps up and speaks up.  The perfect example of that is how she brought up to the Emerging Leaders committee that having a social event is great, but we should combine it with a state-wide Toys-4-Tots drive.  Then, she made it happen.  But, I think, most important…Kim is the type of woman, every woman wants as a friend.
