Sue Smulski Joins MVSB to Lead Exeter Branch Office
MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) is proud to welcome Sue Smulski as Assistant Vice President, Branch & Business Development Manager to lead the Bank’s Exeter office at 2 Meeting Place Drive. In this role, she will support customers, employees, businesses and expand on community involvement initiatives. The Exeter office recently opened its doors in July 2024.
“We are thrilled to have Sue join the team, and her vast bank management and customer service experience will serve us well as we look to grow and support the wonderful community of Exeter,” said Jim Carrigan, MVSB Regional Vice President. “We hope everyone will stop in to meet this great team we have assembled and learn how we can support your banking needs.”
“I’ve had the opportunity to work for many types of banks throughout my career – and witnessed the pressures and contrasting priorities of many of them,” said Sue. “Mutual banks, like MVSB, have no stockholders and instead make decisions that best serve their customers, employees and our local communities. I have resided and worked in the greater Exeter area most of my life, and MVSB’s commitment to mutuality and to supporting the community I am so actively involved in made this opportunity especially exciting for me.”
Sue has more than 40 years of high-level retail and business banking experience, which has included managing branch locations and supporting local businesses throughout New Hampshire. Sue completed the Northern Essex Community College Business Management Financial Services & Business Curriculum and has participated in a number of financial programs and workshops throughout her career.
Sue serves as Secretary on the New Hampshire SPCA Board of Directors and is a member of the New Hampshire Bankers Association, American Bankers Association and Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys many outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, camping, snowshoeing, boating and gardening, as well as cooking, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She has lived in Raymond with her husband, Eric, for more than 30 years.
