Cinco's Cantina to Host October Fundraiser

Cinco’s Cantina, a local, family-owned Mexican restaurant with locations in Rochester, Dover, and Epping, is proud to announce a month-long fundraising initiative in support of Gather, a nonprofit dedicated to ending food insecurity in the Seacoast region. The fundraiser will run from Wednesday, October 1, through Friday, October 31, 2025.

Cinco’s has set a $5,000 fundraising goal in support of Gather’s mission. Throughout the month, guests at any of Cinco’s three locations will have the chance to enjoy exclusive food and cocktail offerings, with a portion of these featured items going directly to Gather:

  • San Jose Burrito: straight from the family’s recipe book. Grilled chicken, chorizo, rice and beans. Topped with melted Mexican cheese and pico de gallo.

  • Cinnamon Apple Margarita: blends crisp apple flavor with a hint of cinnamon spice for the perfect balance of sweet and bold. Refreshing, festive, and full of flavor, perfect for supporting a great cause, one sip at a time!

  • Pop-up Menu Item: The Gather Plate: full of tender pork, fresh veggies, fluffy rice, beans and tortillas.

Additional fundraising initiatives include:

  • Online donation option. Diners ordering takeout can contribute directly to Gather when completing their online order.

  • Fiesta Fundraiser. On Tuesday, October 21, 20% of all sales from all three locations will be donated to Gather.

  • Give Back Gift Card Promotion. For every $25 gift card sold between October 10–12, $5 will go directly to Gather.

  • Cinco’s Costume Contest. On Friday, October 31: Wear a costume and 20% of your check will go back to Gather. Each of Cinco’s three locations will select a best costume winner to receive $50 gift card for future use.

“Food insecurity is a challenge that touches so many families in our community,” said Miguel Alberto Tellez, co-owner of Cinco’s Cantina. “Gather is doing incredible work, and we’re honored to support them this October. Every meal shared at Cinco’s brings us one step closer to our $5,000 goal.”

Co-owner Crescencio Tellez added, “Cinco’s has always been about family and community. Partnering with Gather means we can help make sure no one in our community goes hungry.”

Family-owned and operated, Cinco’s Cantina is known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and its deep commitment to community, hosting Fiesta Fundraisers, philanthropic initiatives, and weekly dine-in and take-out promotions.
