Begin your transformational journey into yoga and tap into your own inner joy with this six week series!
Join this intimate group of beginner yogis and learn the fundamental asanas (postures) of yoga with a focus on foundational poses and alignment. Each session will begin with an overview of the philosophy, the 8 limbs of yoga, and move into asanas, breathwork, and exposure to the language used in any class you might attend. We will break down each posture so you feel confident and strong, connect movement to breath, and hold space for physical & personal growth. Our series will conclude with a full one hour class on week six!
After completing this course, you will have the confidence, knowledge and ability to walk into any yoga class with ease. This series is geared toward the absolute beginner or someone who is somewhat new to yoga and wants to go deeper.
WHAT TO BRING? A yoga mat, water, and an open mind & heart! Dress in comfortable clothes conducive to movement & stretching.
