Children’s Museum of New Hampshire
6 Washington Street, Dover, NH
Join the 9th annual New Hampshire Maker Fest, an all ages celebration of creativity and innovation, organized and hosted by the Children’s Museum of NH. The Fest is a gathering of fascinating curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From artists to entertainers, to entrepreneurs to podcasters, the Maker Fest is a venue for these “Makers” to show hobbies, experiments, projects, and for all of us to discover something new. The Fest takes place in and around the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire in downtown Dover, NH on Saturday, September 18th from 10am-3pm. Play with bubbles, experiment with science, learn new skills, take a selfie with a Stormtropper, and so much more! New this year, entrance into the Fest is by donation (suggested $5). The Museum is also partnering with the Cochecho Arts Festival concert series to bring a family friendly performance by Magic Fred at 10am and the Fest will end with a folk rock music concert from the Kenny Brothers Band at 3pm. To learn more about the event visit www.childrens-museum.org. Please note that everyone over the age of 24 months who visits the inside of the museum during the Fest is required to wear a mask. Not all of the museum’s exhibits will be fully accessible during the day of the Fest.
The museum would like to thank all its NH Maker Fest sponsors including Sprague, the UNIQUE College Investing Plan, Kennebunk Savings Bank, Albany International, Alexander Technology Group, Beswick Engineering Company, Inc., QA Cafe, The Rowley Agency, Loftware, Martel Plumbing & Heating, and NHPBS.
