The 2021 Economic Forecast, underwritten by Cambridge Trust, will discuss New Hampshire's economy and its impact on the Exeter area. 

Speakers include Andrew Smith, PHD, director of the UNH Survey Center and Liz Gray, State Director for the NH Small Business Development Center.

Dr. Andrew Smith is the Director of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center.  He has more than 30 years experience in academic survey research, currently as Director of the Survey Center since 1999, following positions at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Cincinnati.  As Director, Dr. Smith is responsible for overall staff and financial management of the UNH Survey Center.  Dr. Smith is also Professor of Practice in Political Science in the UNH Department of Political Science where his teaching and research has focused on survey methodology, elections, and public policy.  Dr. Smith is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and is President of its New England Chapter.  He is also a founding member and past President of the Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations (AASRO).

Liz Gray joined the NH SBDC as State Director in July of 2018. Prior to this, she served as director of entrepreneurship at the N.H. Business Finance Authority. She established Live Free and Start, an initiative to make New Hampshire an even better place for innovative companies to be able to start, grow and succeed. She held the position of economic development business services manager at the N.H. Department of Resources and Economic Development, and has extensive experience within the political community of New Hampshire. Additionally, she worked for more than 10 years in various capacities in the offices of governors Shaheen, Lynch and Hassan, and as a legislative aide in the N.H. State Senate.
