2020-Citizen of the Year and Edward Pease Excellence in Education Award
The Citizen of the Year and Edward Pease Excellence in Education Award will be honored at the 2020 Business of the Year Awards Banquet, happening on Thursday, April 2nd at Zorvino Vineyards.
Criteria for Citizen of the Year:
- This award is presented to an individual who has made major contributions to the progress and betterment of the Exeter Area community and beyond.
- Nominee is working in one of the following ten (10) towns: Brentwood, East Kingston, Epping, Exeter, Kensington, Kingston, Newfields, Newmarket, Raymond or Stratham.
- Nominee typifies the true spirit of service and self sacrifice in representing the finest ideals of the Exeter Area.
- Nominee does not have to be a member of the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce or the business community. Nominees from all walks of life are encouraged.
- Nominations without detailed information may not be considered.
Criteria for Edward Pease Excellence in Education Award:
- Engaging and inspiring presence that motivates and impacts students, colleagues and the community.
- Exceptional educational talent as evident by effective instructional practices and student learning results in the classroom and school.
- Exemplary education accomplishments beyond the classroom that provide models or excellence for the profession.
- Individuals whose contributions to education are largely unheralded yet worthy of the spotlight.
- Nominee school must be located in one of the following ten (10) towns: Brentwood, East Kingston Epping, Exeter, Kensington, Kingston, Newfields, Raymond, and Stratham.
- Nominee's must exemplary good practices, contribute to their communities, and serve as a role model for teachers, schools and students.
- Nominations without detailed information may not be considered.
