Exeter Egg Hunt This Saturday, March 30th

The 2024 Exeter Egg Hunt will take place this weekend, Saturday March 30th at the Rec Park located at 4 Hampton Rd. The event kicks off at 10 AM for preschoolers with Grades K-2 and 3-5 up next.

(Hint: Look for the golden eggs to go home with a special prize!)

Save the date…2024 Alewife Festival on 5/11

The 2024 Alewife festival will be held 5/11 from 10-1 at Founders Park. The event celebrates the annual return of Alewife River Herring to Exeter. The event is free and open to the public. There are also a limited number of spots available for environmentally focused groups or local businesses looking to have a table at the festival.

Town Mosquito Control Starting April 1st

The Town is working with Northeast Vegetation & Mosquito Control for the 2024 season. Beginning on April 1st, 2024, crews from Northeast Vegetation and Mosquito Control will begin surveying sites for mosquito larvae. Sites include wetlands, marshes, drainage ditches, catch basins and floodwater areas. When found, crews will apply larvicides to control mosquito larvae.

Spring Leaf Pick-up

Spring curbside leaf pick-up will be April 15th - 19th on your regular pick-up day. Waste Management will pick up leaves and grass twice each year once in the spring & once in the fall. Dates will be established each year. The collection will be limited to 12 leaf bags per residence. More information can be found on the Curbside Collection webpage.
