Help Us Protect Exeter's Heritage!

One aspect that sometimes goes unseen is the work required to preserve history... a reality that will be visible when we open for the 2024 season this Thursday, May 9!

Help Us Preserve The Ladd-Gilman House (c.1721)

Decades of wear and tear have taken their toll on the Ladd-Gilman House, which requires a number of essential repairs, including plaster repair, interior and exterior painting, electrical upgrades, and lining the chimney that vents the furnace. Completing these projects in 2024 is crucial to not only help preserve this invaluable historic building, but ensure compliance with current code requirements.

DONATE NOW

You can take a peek at this restoration in progress during a tour of the Ladd-Gilman House. Tours begin this Thursday. Book now and join us!

Folsom Tavern (1775) Restoration Project

In the next 12 months, plans have been made to convert the 30-year-old oil boiler to a new gas boiler, repair, replace, and stain the clapboard exterior, and seal foundation leaks, regrade, and connect the underground drainage system to the town’s storm drain.
