In Chernobyl's toxic Dead Zone, a bold group of women persist, sharing the lethal yet captivating landscape with various visitors, including scientists, soldiers, and 'stalkers'. Their choice to return post-disaster, disregarding risks and authority, exhibits the compelling allure of home, the therapeutic effect of controlling one's fate, and the individual perception of danger.

Transforming as a Community: Conscious Connection at the

Summer Solstice

Spiritual Consultant Kristin Bredimus returns again to Alnoba in 2024 for the Summer Solstice to build upon the journey started with her “Healing as a Community” series. Inspired by the Wheel of the Year Sabbat known as Litha, we will come together at our beautiful 1848 Barn to explore the themes of abundance, growth, and divine masculine energy (the energies of courage, strength, and action). We will take stock of our lives and the present state of the world.

 

The Summer solstice marks the pinnacle of the Sun’s power to fuel the growing season. On the longest day of the year, we will gather to amplify the energies of inspired action.

Get ready for an enchanting evening at Alnoba, as Ballet Misha dancers bring our outdoor sculptures to life! Watch in awe as they gracefully interact with Pablo Atchugarry’s “Dance of Illusions” and Bernar Venet’s “Indeterminate Line”. Prepare to be moved by the captivating show around Jaume Plensa’s “Julia”, and so many more jaw-dropping art sculptures on our property. It's a thrilling fusion of art and dance!
