In 1971, five women courageously stepped up to the plate for their children’s best interests, challenged the misconceptions around children with disabilities and developmental delays, and began building a team of support that would become the Richie McFarland Children’s Center. Now, 50 years later, we are celebrating the strength of community built on hope and inclusion.
Although we are unable to come together in person this year, we are excited to celebrate this milestone anniversary through our virtual Stadium of Support. We invite you to take your seat in our stadium. Together, we are sure to hit this celebration out of the park.
