I hope this email finds you inspired and motivated. I wanted to share with you the secret ingredient to how I take complete ownership of my time.
At Five Pillar Financial, we firmly believe that your success is our success. That's why we're committed to providing you with unwavering support at every step of your journey. From personalized coaching and mentorship to ongoing training and development, we'll be by your side, empowering you to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.
Imagine you could take your time back. That you could open up large chunks of time to do...anything you wanted to do. Maybe you want to focus more on your business, your hobbies, or your family. Enter "The 168 Game". We all have the same 168 hours in each week. But how do we use them? Do we get lost in the endless social media scroll? Do we say "YES" to every opportunity or person needing our attention?
Below I included my 186 Game template completely free. I fill it out to the 15-minute mark each week. I included a few sample activities as well.
Step 1 - Fill out your 168 Game (high level only) every Sunday for the next week.
Step 2 - Take the high level items and fill out your Google Calendar (or the calendar of your choice) with more detail.
Step 3 - Follow the calendar
Do this for one week and see how your productivity increases!
Here are 5 things to consider for time ownership:
-
Prioritization: Time owners identify their most important tasks and activities, focusing on activities that align with their goals and values. They differentiate between tasks that are truly important and those that may be less significant.
-
Planning: Time owners plan their days, weeks, and months in advance, setting clear goals and allocating time for each task or activity. This planning helps ensure that they make progress toward their objectives.
-
Productivity: Time owners use effective time management techniques to boost their productivity. They minimize distractions, break tasks into manageable chunks, and use techniques like the Pomodoro Technique to maintain focus.
-
Boundary Setting: Time owners establish boundaries between work, personal life, and leisure activities. They allocate time for family, relaxation, hobbies, and self-care to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
-
Saying No: Time owners understand the importance of saying no to tasks, commitments, or activities that do not align with their goals or may lead to time wastage.
