Join the Culper Spy Ring!
Stop by the grounds of Folsom Tavern anytime through the end of September to begin your self-led mission as a spy!  Solve three riddles to work your way across the grounds, leading you to your final destination where you will receive a make-your-own cipher wheel kit! No sign up necessary. Your mission begins under the outdoor water spigot at the back of the Tavern, near the side stairs. Protect your secrets and yourself! Please keep 6 feet from other spy ring members on museum grounds and wear a mask at all times.

Open Question: Does Truth Matter?

This new program presented by New Hampshire Humanities explores essential questions about meaning and life that are important to Granite Staters.  Dr. Joshua Tepley, an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Anselm College, will ask "Does Truth Matter?". We hope you will join us and add your voice and ideas to the discussion. Tuesday, September 22 at 12pm via Zoom; free- registration required.

The 2020 Season Exhibit
As 2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the American Independence Festival, we decided to take the opportunity to look critically at commemoration. Our virtual seasonal exhibit Commemoration takes a deeper dive by asking questions about who, what and where we commemorate while looking closely at some of the objects in the museums collection.
