About Us

Heronfield Academy is an independent middle school in Hampton Falls. Heronfield believes middle school students should be both nurtured and challenged. Each aspect of the school program is designed to help students think about who they are, who they want to be, and how their decisions shape their experiences. Students learn by doing as they set and meet goals, push through difficult tasks, and recognize the power of kindness and community.

At Heronfield, we seek outcomes beyond preparation for a rigorous high school. We help our students develop the willingness to go deeper in their learning, the self-confidence to conquer challenges, and the ability to think critically and independently for a lifetime. It is a place where young people grow into their best selves. Heronfield Academy students seek challenges and enjoy working with teachers and advisors who care deeply about their students, their subject matter, and the growth of young people.
