Newmarket Rec is excited announce our event ??The Sugar ?? & Spice ?? Afternoon Tea. A spin off of both our Mommy & Me Tea and Sugar & Spice Expo. We are trying something NEW and hope one and all can enjoy both aspects of our previous events while keeping the day flexible. This combo event will be a fun and festive afternoon where attendees (Mommy's & Me's) ... anyone really, who wants to relax, shop small, and feel pampered. The Vendor Expo will run from 12-4 pm so that you have plenty of time to enjoy before or after your Tea Time Cafe seating (should you choose to make reservations) to do girlie crafts, talk to vendors, or watch our spring fling fashion shows! However, of course, we would love for you to join us in our exclusive VIP Tea Time Cafe ?? for a light scrumptious lunch and some tea with friends and family! You can make a 1pm or 2pm or 3pm – Tea Time Reservations on the hour ?. If you are looking to attend the event with a group and would like a larger table, please let us know who you would like at your table so we can plan accordingly. Yes, we can even set for groups up to 8 and even 10… just let us know by 4/4! After that it will be based on availability! Limited seating per hour time frame, so best to make reservations! The Tea Time Cafe ??menu will feature sweets, ?? savories, bite size dainty sandwich corners, as well as plenty of tea, sugar/cream and of course lemonade. Pre-Pay Reservations for Afternoon Tea is $12 per person. Children under 2 years are free and considered a lap child. (Read about our New Disney Daycare Room) Reservations can be-purchase in advance online or by calling 659-8581. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their mother, grandmother, aunt or special friend at the event. The Sugar & Spice Vendor Expo (FREE to public) will be open from 12 - 4pm and will feature an array of products geared toward the female crowd, such as jewelry, flowers, crafters, women’s ??clothes ??, skin care, make up, massages, ????accessories and many more girly things! Be sure to continue to check on the Sugar & Spice Expo Afternoon Tea Facebook event page as we will list vendors as they register for the event. Vendor participants will be announced very soon! Our Spring Fling Fashion Shows ?? will run during each VIP Tea Time Cafe seating times and will run on the 1/2 hour starting at 1:30pm, 2:30pm & 3:30pm. All Tea Time Cafe patrons will have front row seats! In regards to participating in the fashion show our tea time participants can be entertained and/or be the entertainers in the fashion show wearing various spring like decorative accessories that the Rec will provide! Please wear your favorite fun, fashionable and Spring outfit to the event! This is Photo opportunity you don’t want to miss! Also, during the afternoon there you will have a chance to win delightful gifts at our Spectacular Spring Raffle ??table filled with various items donated by all of the vendors, as well as, our Dollar ?? Diva Table will be open where girls can purchase secret boxes and possibly win an extra special prize. Disney ?? Room - New this year! Mom with little ones who need a little break while shopping... no worries... just drop your little one in our Disney themed room and our ??princess staff will keep an eye on them while you shop and/or just have a relaxing tea and lunch with your friends or ???????? older child! As you can see, this year we tried to cover all family and friend scenarios and pampering needs!
